A QR code prototype was recently demonstrated by SPM Assets at a number of NZ regional user group events and it generated significant business interest. The primary proposed use of the QR code is making information on asbestos hazards available to nominated people who visit buildings to do physical work on site. Our latest case study focuses on how hospitals and healthcare providers can better manage their large multi-million dollar portfolios of buildings and medical equipment. This client realised surveying 17 sites wasn’t feasible due to resource constraints, so a time-boxed approach to infield assessments was used, together with virtual data for rooms with a common layout.
